We’re into double figures!!!! 99 days left to go before our adventure starts. We can’t believe that we’re here already. It feels like this steam train is picking up speed and pretty much careering down the hill – not quite out of control yet… but nearly.
Things are happening so quickly now and it feels like there is still so much to do. We have resigned ourselves to having to arrange visas in the previous countries. Most of the visas that we need are only valid for 3 months from date of issue so we can’t get them now even if we wanted to.
Vaccinations are well on their way although we still have quite a few to do (eeuugghhh!).
Sully, aaahhh, what can we say. She is blossoming under the special care of Paul and Graham at Footloose4x4… Pimp My Ride, watch out!!!
We have started to plan the packing of Sully in ernest. Each box being packed and re-packed to find the optimal space. We are also still on a constant search on the internet and chatting to people for useful things to take with us.
Freeze Dried Foods from European Freeze Dry The quality is fabulous. Do yourself a favour and try some.
We are going to take a bit of a break over Christmas. Unless something really important happens, we won’t be posting again until the new year. So, let’s take this time to wish you all a joyous Christmas and New Year - both filled with love, togetherness, happiness and friendship. Take some time out to be with family and friends and cherish the time you have together.
Merry Christmas… and see you again in 2009!
