Hooray, we're 1 step closer!  Today our passports arrived back with our multiple-entry Kenyan visas.  1 less thing to worry about when we hit the shores of Tanzania and start our journey.  It means that we now have the flexibility to pop in and out of Kenya (as is our intention).  So, we will start our journey in Tanzania in April 2009, work our way up to the Equator through Kenya, turn left and head on down through Uganda and Rwanda to re-enter Tanzania around July/August time.  This will allow us to time our trip to follow the wildebeest migration throught the Serengeti Plains and on into the Masai Mara.... and all without having to worry about re-applying for visas :o)
